Our Story

About the Practice

A Worcester architecture practice with a national reputation for design.

Great buildings, designed around people

Carroll Architects was founded by Nick Carroll RIBA in 2006. We are a chartered practice of architects, urban designers and development consultants, based on Broad Street in the heart of Worcester.

We're an independent, closely-held practice — and we work across residential, commercial and development projects, from one-off contemporary homes to city-centre schemes.

Our studio occupies the ground floor of the Livity aparthotel on Broad Street, a building we designed ourselves.

Our Approach

From first sketch to completion

We guide every project with precision, creativity and a genuine understanding of how good buildings are made — leading clients from concept and planning through technical design and delivery on site. Our best-known project, the Malvern hillside house 'Endeavour', was featured on Channel 4's Grand Designs.
